marina travel exceeded expectations, especially after previous disappointing stay in hofn. friendly owner, impressive knowledge, clean basic room, good kitchen. perfect for a quick stop while driving around iceland.

One small issue - something was missing.

Enjoyed to stay there, the place is attractive. The free parking was available. All was extra clean here, cosy rooms. Shared bathroom was modern.

The bathroom was completely renovated and provided a nice and modern experience, while the owner was a really cool guy. The property may be simple, but it's enough for a stop during your Iceland road trip. The beds were comfortable and the whole place was clean. Checking in and out was a breeze and the kitchen had all the necessary equipment for a nice breakfast. The host even helped us find accommodations during a storm at a great price. Highly recommend this place!

our recent stay at hofn was great, but guesthouse marina travel was even better! the host was friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom and shower were fantastic. we had a lovely chat with the host and felt comfortable throughout our stay. highly recommend!

Kitchen equipment was lacking.

We had a great stay at this guesthouse. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom and shower were excellent. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating, making us feel very welcome. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and clean dishes, and the location was convenient, close to downtown and a grocery store. we had a wonderful experience at Guesthouse Marina Travel.
